Day 01: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Km 82 – Wayllabamba (09km walked distance)

At 05:00am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco, then we will head towards Ollantaytambo Andean town to have our optional breakfast (if you desire). Then you will be taken straight a way to Km 82 (2,700 MASL) where we will go through the main check point to later begin our hike along the sacred Inca Trail. On your way, we will pass by villages and remainings of Inca structures like the site of Patallaccta (your local guide will share a reliable information about it). Then we will trek for a couple of hours more to the campsite. (Campsite location might slightly change due to local weather and government regulations).

Day 02: Wayllabamba – Warmihuañusca – Pacamayo (11km walked distance)

At 07:00am, We will start to ascend by a winding narrow trail to the highest pass of the entire Inca trail (Warmi Huañusca 4,200MASL). Indeed, this is probably the most demanding length, as it requires from you to be mentally and physically prepared. Our expert guide will definitely provide needed help as you manage this journey along the beaten track. Once you get to the summit, there will be a brief break to embrace the surroundings. According to the time and your willingness, your guide and team (porters and chefs) will arrange your lunch. Once we finish our tasty meal, we will hike for a few hours to Pacaymayo 3.600MASL, a place where we will camp and have a delicious dinner.

Day 03: Pacaymayo – Wiñayhuayna

At 07:00am, we will get ready to enjoy another fascinating day. Indeed, we will have the privilege to pass by few Inca sites like Runkuracay, Sayacmarka and Puyopatamarca. At each site a guided tour will take place so you can enrich your experience a bite further. Finally, you will hike to the complex site of Wiñayhuayna where your guide will lead you around to show and explain about its history. Finally we will get to our last campsite, as the porters have already accomplished their amazing job caring all the equipment, this night a ceremony will be arranged to share memories of your hiking experience.

Day 04: Wiñayhuayna – Machhupicchu

Beacuse you are encouraged to observe the expectacular sunrise at the sungate, today we are departing at 04:00am in order to arrive at a perfect time to Sungate. As soon as we finish with this event, we will have a guided tour for 02 hours maximum in Machupicchu site. After you will go around on your own. We strongly suggest you to catch your bus at a convenient time to the town of Aguas Calientes. Once there, you will have time for lunch at the restaurant of your preference. We recommend you to be at train station 30 minutes before your train departs. Once you board your train and return to Ollantaytambo, our local representative will pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco where our services end.
