Description
At 07:00am, we will pick you up from your hotel, soon after we will board our private bus on the way to the north east in order to get to LAMPA (3,892MASL), here we will observe the interesting colonial temple of Saint James Apostol built between 1685 and 1776. From here, we will head along the dramatic scenery on the way to Pucara to visit an interesting pre-Inca museum. Later we will continue to the canyon of Tinajani, as soon we arrive to this natural wonder, we will be surrounded by enormous natural rock formations with intriguing shapes of animals, plants, birds, and human faces, all which are considered by locals as the gods of the mountains. Later, we will head up to the highest point where we will appreciate three natural fountains, which are believed by locals to have been a place for the devil to entertain himself before taking his journeys to the outer space. In this place, we will also be able to observe sacred pre-Inca burial sites and enjoy the magnificent 380º vista. In the end we will return and then take you back to your hotel in Puno.
